The Band
ROCK BOTTOM (UK) was formed in 2012 by a group of experienced musicians united by a love of classic UFO / Michael Schenker Group. We play a 2 hour high energy stage show which draws heavily from the "Strangers In The Night" and "One Night At Budokan" live albums.

Yesterday was Kate's one hundred-and-eleventy-first birthday, which is a notable age for anyone, not least the erstwhile UFO-merchandise landy and webmistress. In celebration many gathered at The Groovers Arms, Ripley for an afternoon of live music and shenanigans - all of which were in plentiful supply. It was great to see so many people come to listen and socialise including members of the wider UFO fan community such as Dave Wood (MGAB), Tristan Greatrex (album cover/logo designer), Hels Westby, Paul Alex and of course the Batttttty-Lady herself.
Slagbank travelled down from their native Cumbria and were joined by guitar supremo Dave Burn. They played an awesome set of 70's hard rock covering Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath, Deep Purple, Mountain, "The Welsh Rush" aka Budgie and many more. A massive thanks to Buzz, Tony, Mark and Dave for the many miles travelled and top performances given on the day.
Second came Rock Bottom who went through the whole of the "Strangers..." album with a few surprises thrown in for good measure. A big thanks also to our good mates Pritch and Pip for running PA and lighting duties on the day.
